5 Question Project

The 5 Question Project (5Q) highlights five important questions that parents should ask every child’s teacher in preparation for parent/teacher conferences. The questions, developed in collaboration with the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE), the Rhode Island Teaching and Learning Center (RITLC), teachers, parents, and students, are designed as conversation starters.

The five questions are available for elementary, middle, and high school students. Posters featuring the 5Q are available for display in classrooms. English, Spanish, and Portuguese translations are available.
